The document describes and compares the processes of cement and concrete production. Cement production involves 5 steps: limestone and clay are crushed and heated, then ground to produce cement which is bagged. Concrete only has 2 stages: cement, water, sand and gravel are mixed to produce concrete. Gravel makes up 50% of concrete, with sand at 25% and cement and water each around 15-10%.

The two diagrams indicate the process of cement and this of concrete. As can be seen, the former has five main steps from the raw materials to bags whilst the latter only has two stages.
At the beginning of the cement production, two substances including
limestone and clay are put through a crusher in order to transform into powder. Then this powder continues going through a mixer and a rotating heater. After heating, the mixture is ground in a grinder and the cement is produced. At the final stage of the process, this cement is packed into bags.
Regarding concrete production, there are four ingredients to make
concrete including cement, water, sand, and gravel. Gravel takes the highest proportion (about 50%). The percentage of sand is half of that of gravel (at 25%). Cement and water have the rate nearly equal (15% and 10%, respectively). Initially, these raw materials are poured into the concrete mixer before being blended to produce concrete.
