C_MPLETE ME (Complete Me): This activity will link students’ knowledge to let them be engaged the new lesson.

D. Activity Directions: Show to students Numbers 1- 5 using the PowerPoint Presentation. Call somebody from the class to open 1 number. Each
number consists of 5 Essentials of Welding. These essentials inside each number are formed with lacking vowel letters. So students will
give the correct vowel letters. In that case they will be able to form the correct word as well.
Lean or Dab!
Analysis
Directions: Let students show in class Lean if they agree in the statement or Dab if they disagree from the given statement.
E. Abstraction Watch video presentation on how to perform WELD CARBON STEEL PLATES IN FLAT POSITION applying the five essentials
GROUP ACTIVITY: LET’S LERAN TOGETHER! 10 points
The class will be divided into 3 groups:
DIRECTIONS: Answer the question within the group, consolidate the answer of the groupmates and share it in class.
F. Application
1. Using the Venn diagram answer this question, why is it that following the 5 essentials procedure in welding
important?
2. Choose 1 representative from the group to present.
Assessment/Evaluation Directions: 5 item QUIZ. Read each statement carefully.

Multiple Choice. Choose the letter of the best answer and write only the letter of your answer.

IV. REFLECTION Let students know that in everything they do we must have patience. And tell this statement;
“You have already observed that in this kind of skill you need not be in a hurry or else you won’t be able to have good quality output. So
Patience is somewhat a hidden tool for us to master this skill.”
