I'm from Uruguay. I'm in Coffs Harbour with a Working Holiday Visa 417. I’m deaf. I take advantage
of my hearing-impaired status to have a keen sense of observation and insight to capture details
accurately. I use different communication methods such as pen and paper, facial expressions and
body language, and typing on my cell phone to overcome communication barriers. I use a cochlear
implant, the most difficult thing is listening to the English language. I will be in Australia for at least
a year, willing to work as much as I can. I´m a responsible, motivated, empathetic person seeking
for a full or part-time position. I love working with people and I´m comfortable working in fast-paced
environments.
I have experience in Uruguay as a kitchen hand, domestic service, chef, kitchen manager and
dishwasher and in Australia it is as a blueberry and famberry picker. I believe that my experience and
abilities make me a useful person.
