1. This office announces the conduct of asp council Junior, Senior and cadet camp
2028 wi:+h ldne ldnerne "Gut Scouting through the Years, Adapting Change in Embracing the
Ftttztre" at Marina Yulo-Vargas Regional Program and Training Center "Camp Marina"
Capitol Hills, Cebu City on the following dates;

1.2 Se:rhor cnd cadet ca;mp May 12-14, 2023 {Fridey to su:ndey)
2. Please see attached letter for important details. Please note that this will be on a
first to confirm, first to be accommodated bases.
3. Participants strictry follow and observe health protocol standards and must wear
facemasks and face shields and observe social distancing.

We are very pleased to inform you that the Girl Scouts of the Philippines - Cebu Councill will
hold the "Council Junior, Senior and Cadet Camp 2023" with the theme "G/'r/ Scou[l'ng Through
the Years, Adapting Change in Embracing the Future" at Mar-rna Yulo-Vargas Regional Program
and Training Center "Camp Marina", Capitol Hi[]s, Cebu City on May 5 -14, 2023] The details of
the said event are hereunder:
•:. To highlight the Campfire, each District is to prepare a presentation showcasing the
Festivity fi`om their own City or Municipality. However, if each city or municipality is
composed of 2 or more districts, they can group as one.
•:. Participants are given the discretion on the cooking eqLlipment they will use as long as
patrol cooking is visible (for Junior, Seniors and Cadet)
•:. Qualifications of participants:
Girls: - must be registered Junior, Senior & Cadet GS whose membership is not
expiring on May 2023
- must he physically fit and alert as certified by licensed physician
- must have earned at least one badge under the challenge of Environment,
Preparedness, Ads, Eco. Selfeufficiency, Heritage & Citizenship
- must have attended troop and district camps
Adults -mLlst be a registered Troop Leader, Co-Leader, BC whose membership is not
expiring on May 2023
-must have undertaken a Basic Course and Outdoor Leadership
-must be physi€a[[y fit to undergo the rigor of outdoor life
-must know and understand her girls
-must know the basics and attended a training in First Aid
•:. The activities shall include:
Junior: Junior GS Got Talent (3 per sub-camp), AdventL[re Games, Sticker Diamond
Painting, GPN, Tour
Senior:Search for Miss Senior & Cadet GS (2 per sub-camp), Adventiire Games,
Diamond Painting, Tour

Enclosed are the Application with Parent's Consent & Health Form, Reply S]ip which we expect to
receive at the Council on or before April 28, 2023 for Juniol.s and May 5, 2023 for Senior and
Cadets to give us ample time in the preparation of program mater'ials and souvenirs.
We wi[[ be observing minimum health protocols such as wearing of face mask at al] times.
