Audition Instructions and Deadlines - Indian Music 2024

1. The auditions process for Inter-House Indian Music will be online this year. The deadline
will be 11:59 p.m. on 10th January, 2024.
2. Participants need to record a 2.5-minute video with the performance of their song,
whether single or duet.
3. There must be absolutely no editing or modification of the video and it is the House
Council’s responsibility to ensure that this does not occur. Any evidence of editing or
modification will lead to an immediate disqualification.
4. Videos must be recorded in landscape (horizontal) format and the participant should be
clearly visible.
5. Participants must begin the video stating their full name, age-category, house, and the
song they will be singing. This will not be considered part of the 2.5-minute limit.
6. For duet participants, both singers must be recorded in the same video, at the same
location.
7. The videos will be submitted onto a OneDrive folder by the House Councils. Each
participant should share their video in the preferred format announced by the House
Councils prior to the deadline. A link will be shared to facilitate this. The naming format
of each file will be “AgeCategory_House_Full Name”. For example,
“IB_Panthers_Param Davda”. It is the responsibility of the House Councils to ensure the
filename of each submission is in the correct format.
8. In the event that two participants are tied, the participants will be asked to perform their
audition song live in the Indian Music Room at a date prior to 18th January.
