1- Introduction

This Directive establishes consistent standards PPE's, Tools and safety Equipment
approved By Huawei to be applied in the Running Rollout Project for Huawei NA
Region staff as well as related subcontractors staff interims of PPE’s standard,
approved supplier, expire date and actual Physical Conditions

Instructions :
 Present on site without or with nonstandard PEE’s or Tools will be subject to
related consequence penalty according huawei internal regulations and
subcontractors EHS agreement

 Upon this standard, EHS manager should Identify the List of the PPE’s and
tools required according to project scope of work and define hazards

 Project EHS manager is Direct responsible to track the high Risk PPE’s in
ledger Cover WAH PPE’s and electrical work PPE’s as mandatory
requirement

 Projects and employee should maintain Process of safe storage of PPE’s

and Tools

 The expire date of every PPE or Tool is define according to approved

manufacturer guidance in the Tool manual

 All PPE’s and Tools must be inspected visually on site before being used

 The NA region approves standard and brands is Limited to listed below, in

case of define any other PPE’s / Tools standard by rep- offices its
mandatory to submit for NA region EHS manager to review- test and verify
before being used

Protective equipment. According to ICT industry and OHSA requirements.
