ICT became very helpful not only in our ICT - related works or jobs but also

became greatly helpful and gave us advantages in our daily living, society and in other

fields like our economy, entertainment, as well as transactions in every fields. ICT is

considered one of our tools to make our lives easier because of all the things that are

under it. Some things that we can do with the help of ICT are: getting knowledge which

can greatly help students in gathering data or just give everyone accessible tools to get

any information they want, ICT also provides us the means to send information the

easier way or express ourselves digitally while connecting ourselves with other people

that we don't personally know, so ICT can also help in socializing, then, ICT helps us to

be familiarize in different communication devices since those are involved if we choose

to use ICT.

As I have mentioned, ICT has a strong impact in our daily lives. It makes our

works easier which is a good thing for us, especially, when we have many works that

need to be done. One more thing, all of us is probably fond of communicating with our

loved ones, but not all of us are with them personally, so if they are far away, ICT is the

answer to our problems in communicating with them. Also, as a student who has a lot of

works to do, ICT has a lot of contributions for me to get it all done without stressing

myself so much, unlike when I am getting it done with just myself, without the help of

ICT. Then, I did not expect ICT to be that important, but since the pandemic happened, I

realized how important ICT is to our lives. Us, the students, continued our studies

through the internet as well as allow people and give them the opportunity to continue

their works through the use of ICT. Without ICT, I do think it would be hard for us to do
the things that we are doing right now, such as studying, working, communicating, and

the like.

In addition, ICT also helps businesses to grow, expand, and promote their

services through social media or internet. With ICT, we do not have to go outside just so

we can buy things that are essential because we can now buy our needs in shopping

apps that are available online. Not just that, we also can be entertained whenever we

are bored or do not have anything to do, since there are a lot of things that we can do

with ICT. I must say that it helps me so much when the pandemic started because we

are not allowed to go out, so it is a bit suffocating to just stay at my room with nothing to

do. That time, ICT became my best friend, it is the only thing that takes away my

boredom. Because of its usefulness, most of the jobs and programs that college

students are taking uses ICT and because of that, students are studying the ICT deeply

to use it correctly.

Looking back, I realized that ICT has helped me a lot since then. It made my life

and work easier. At first, I did not realize all the things ICT has done to me until now,

now that I am looking back to the contributions that it gave me. From my daily life,

communication, studies, entertainment, as well as being one of my friends whenever I

do not have anything to do. It became one of my sources of happiness since some of

my hobbies need the use of technology and internet such as reading online books,

watching movies, and playing online games. I can’t imagine how our lives would be

without ICT, it’s possible that things would be much harder to be done since we will do it

manually. I will be forever thankful to ICT, looking forward to all the things we will be

sharing together.
