C. MOTIVATION(Trave “Outer Space Exploration” .

l and Tour ) Settle down and wear your helmet, let’s
explore the outer space.

Are you Ready?

Direction: The Learners will just sit on their

respective seats, imagining they are riding on
the space shuttle wearing their helmet by
means in reaching the outer space
everything they see they will name it.

What to do:

Fasten your seatbelt

Wear your helmet
Do not take off your helmet unless its
commanded by your astronaut.
Just enjoy your travel and tour

Possible object they will see in the outer

space:

Alright! Hold your breath minute from now we

are about to landing to our first destination.

Were just arrived

7E’S LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 6 FOR GRAND DEMONSTRATION

Take off o your helmet , and guess our first

destination.

Absolutely! That is the moon

Moon is a natural satellite of the earth.

Okay, wear your helmet again lets continue

our exploration going to our next destination.

Wait, I see something outside open your

helmet and guess what it is.

Do you know what is that class?

On going to our last destination wear your

helmet again.

That’s awesome object from the space , do

you know what is that class?

Very good class!

Presenting
examples/instances of Direction: The class will be divided into
t new lesson three groups: each group will perform the
given task.

Group 1:(Visual Observer)

Let the pupils assume that they are expert

scientist . OBSERVE AND LEARN Let them
observe the light that reflect to half of the
ball.

Direction: With the given materials, pupils will

point the light of the flashlight on the half side
of the ball then, they will write their reflection
base on what they observe.

“Shadow Investigation”

1. Let them point the light of the flashlight

on the half side of the ball.

2. Let them look if the whole ball been

occupied with the light.

Guided Questions:

Does the whole ball occupied with the light

coming from the flashlight?

Group 2:(Research Learners)

Let the Pupils do the FIND AND LEARN

activity.

Direction: Pupils will think some of the

activities that will be done in the morning and
in the evening
7E’S LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 6 FOR GRAND DEMONSTRATION

“Place Me where I belong”

1. Think about your activity daily.

2. Think about your activity during night

time.

Group 3: (Techie Learners)

Let the pupils assume that they are scientist

and answer the THINK AND LEARN. Let
them observe what they doing.

Direction: Provide the group, with a fidget

spinner and give them a minute to play and
spin it to the left and to the right

Guiding questions:

“Spin the fidget spinner”

1. Let them spin the fidget spinner to the

left and right.

2. Let them observe the direction of the

spinner.

3. Let them think what possible direction

of it.

What kind of movement do you see?

Can you identify the center of the

movement?

3. EXPLANATION
Rotation of the Earth

A. Discussing new
concepts and
practicing new
skills #1

Earth rotates on its axis from west to east,

and the Sun and the Moon appear to move
from east to west across the sky. The
spinning of the Earth around its axis is
called ‘rotation’. The axis has an angle of 23
1/2º and is perpendicular to the plane of
Earth’s orbit. This means the Earth is tilted
on its axis, and because of this tilt, the
northern and southern hemispheres lean in
a direction away from the Sun. The rotation
of the Earth divides it into a lit-up half and a
dark half, which gives rise to day and night.
The direction of the Earth’s rotation depends
on the direction of viewing. When viewed
looking down from the North Pole, Earth
spins counterclockwise. On the contrary,
when viewed looking down from the south
pole, the earth spins in the clockwise
direction.

Importance of Earth Rotation

Some of the importance of the rotation of
the Earth are listed below:
7E’S LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 6 FOR GRAND DEMONSTRATION

The Earth’s rotation creates the diurnal

cycle of lightness and darkness,
temperature and humidity changes.
The Earth’s rotation causes tides in the
oceans and seas.

Did you understand class?

Alright ! Lets have an activity to measure if

you truly understand our lesson today.

Pupils to Pupils Activity :” Magic Wheel”

(Discussing new Direction: The Teacher will let the pupils
concepts and roll magic wheel and when its stop and point
practicing new out by the arrow to the name listed on the
skills #2) wheel that person will stand and answer
the corresponding question prepare by the

teacher

b. Day time

5.ELABORATE Activity: “I do and you do”

D. Developing Direction: Pupils will rotate the globe to
mastery determine the day time and night time
(leads to formative before the activity proper, after that teacher
assessment) will choose two participants to do the activity
first, they will think an activity that they
usually do during day time and night time
then, the two participants will be given the
authority to select their classmate to do the
activity the same.
