Target Personnel: Participants to this activity are teachers in all grade levels,
fifteen (17) Kinder to Grade 12 and Non-Advisory teachers,
one (1) LAC Facilitator , one (1) QAME, one (1) Assistant
School Head and one (1) School Head. Total is 19
Budget Requirement: None

Activity Requirement During the conduct of the School Learning Action Cell, the
LAC Facilitators, teachers’ participants of the school will
strictly adhere to the following health and safety protocols:
 Wearing of face masks
 Washing both hands with soap;
Number of LAC Groupings Two (2) Groups. Each group has maximum of fifteen (10)
participants

II. PROGRAM CONTENT FOCUS


Rationale:

Teachers have a great impact on the lives of their learners. They are expected to be professionally
competent in the practice of their profession.
Moreover, they also need to possess a good reputation not only in the school but in the entire community.
Having this big responsibility in the learning environment, teachers must be guided by this code which
comprehensively discusses the different expectations from a teacher.
As mandated in the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers and pursuant to the provisions of paragraph
(c) Article 11 of R.A No. 7836 otherwise known as the Philippine Professionalism Act of 1994, teachers should
hereby adopt the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers. Teachers have the responsibility to interest
positively with parents must be conducted regularly and be kept professional and free from arguments.

Objectives:

After completing the sessions, the teachers should be able to:


 Demonstrate understanding of the key provisions of the code of ethics and become familiar with
responsibilities of a professional teacher.
 Describe how a teachers’ daily performance of his or her duties can be aided or guided by the code of
ethics, leading to the development of a good teacher.
 Exhibit professional conduct in accordance with the Philippine Code of Ethics for Teachers.

End Program Outputs:


After completing the training, the teachers are expected to have:

1. Self-Assessment of teachers
2. Narrative Report
3. Reflections

The teachers will be able to commit to practicing the Code of Ethics, adhering to it, and providing the best
possible service to their clientele as public servants.
