PROJECT TITLE: TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

I. RATIONALE

As we can observe in the current state of our environment, there are visible changes that are very
alarming to the entire existence of mankind. The most alarming issue that one should be afraid of is
GLOBAL WARMING. Drastic change of climate and abnormal weather behaviour occur. Evidences can be
seen today such as floods, super typhoons, intense heat etc.

In line with this, every individual plays a great role in solving this unnatural problem. Young citizens
are also responsible in keeping the world safe for the future generation to come. Thus, The BTLED- HE 2 nd
year students of Banay-Banay Extension Campus will be conducting a Tree Planting Activity as a simple
contribution in formulating solution to the said environmental problem.

II. OBJECTIVES
 To help minimize the effects of climate change
 To help the youths in playing their roles in taking care of the environment
 To produce enough trees for the future generation

III. CONTENTS

It will be a half-day activity. There will be 10 volunteers from 1st year education. Each will bring 2
sprouts. The activity will be spearheaded by the SSG Official’s

IV. PARTICIPANTS

10 volunteers, 10 SSG officials and 30 students/pupils

V. FUNDING

The fund of the activity shall be charged against the 10% of the SK Fund intended for the Green Brigade.

VI. BREAKDOWN OF EXPENSES

P50 lunch x 50 participants = P2, 500.00

P250 Green Brigade Uniform x 10 volunteers = P2,500.00
