In-Service Training (INSET) of Teachers I, II, and III

Sta. Monica Elementary School

Day 2: January 25, 2024

The second day of the In-Service Training (INSET) commenced with a thorough inspection and checking
of Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form (IPCRF) forms and supporting documents of
Teachers I-III by Perla C. Bigalme, Master Teacher I of Sta. Monica Elementary School. This session
ensured that teachers' performance evaluations were meticulously reviewed for accuracy and
completeness.

In the afternoon session, the focus shifted to the implementation of Catch-Up Friday, a vital component
of the School Learning Action Plan (SLAC) for January 2024. Vilma M. Perona, the dedicated Principal II
of SMES, once again took the lead in elucidating the Catch-Up Friday initiative. With meticulous detail,
she reiterated the importance of this program and provided comprehensive explanations to teachers,
ensuring their thorough understanding of its implementation.

Day 3: January 26, 2024

On the final day of the INSET, the morning session commenced with the presentation of Catch-Up Friday
Videos, offering visual aids to supplement teachers' understanding of the program's objectives and
methodologies. These videos provided valuable insights and practical demonstrations, enriching
teachers' comprehension of the Catch-Up Friday initiative.

In the afternoon session, DepEd Memorandum 001, s. 2024 was thoroughly discussed, further
enlightening educators on the intricacies of Catch-Up Friday implementation. This memorandum,
endorsed by Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sarah Duterte, provided essential guidelines and
directives to ensure the smooth execution of the Catch-Up Friday program.

Throughout the entirety of the INSET, the active participation and dedication of the teachers, led by the
exemplary efforts of Principal Vilma M. Perona, facilitated a productive learning environment. The
collaboration between teachers, Master Teacher Perla C. Bigalme, and the support of Teacher III Brian
George R. Amante in preparing this narrative report, as well as Teacher II Artemio I. Almario's
contributions in photo documentation, exemplify the collective commitment towards continuous
professional development and excellence in education at Sta. Monica Elementary School.
