OBJECTIVES At the end of the training, participants are


expected to:
1. Acquire accurate information on the different
topics and contents,
2. Develop life skills including critical thinking,
communication and negotiation,self-development
and decision-making; sense of self; confidence;
assertiveness; ability to take responsibility; ability
to ask questions and seek help; and empathy.
3. Nurture positive attitudes and values, including
open-mindedness, respect for self and others,
positive self-worth/esteem, comfort,
nonjudgmental attitude, sense of responsibility,
and positive attitude toward their sexual and
reproductive health.
IMPLICATIONS/RESULTS All teachers who attended the training gained
knowledge on the different, created effective and
conducive to all types of learners, and shared
views and best practices in their classroom,
reskilled and retooled on the basics of Canva and
acquired new teaching pedagogies in handling
learners.
BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS None

NARRATIVE REPORT In-Service Training is a 5-days training-seminar


conducted annually during midyear break to
enhance teachers’ knowledge and pedagogies
and equip them with new and advance techniques.

With this, an INSET was held on January 24-26


and 29-30, 2024. It was attended by 40 teachers
from kindergarten to grade 6.

The objective of the SLAC is to:


1. Acquire accurate information on sexual and
reproductive rights, information to dispel myths,
and references to resources and services.
2. Develop life skills including critical thinking,
communication and negotiation,self-development
and decision-making; sense of self; confidence;
assertiveness; ability to take responsibility; ability
to ask questions and seek help; and empathy.
3. Nurture positive attitudes and values,
including open-mindedness, respect for self

and others, positive self-worth/esteem,


comfort, nonjudgmental attitude, sense of

their sexual and reproductive health.

The resource speaker discussed their


knowledge and experience in their selected topics,
created effective and conducive to all types of
learners, and shared views and best practices in
their classroom. Teachers shared their views ad
best practices during the SLAC.

The activity was ended successfully. New insights


are gained and are expected to employ in their
daily teaching.
