In the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful, he is the lord of the world the king
of the day after, All praices to Allah SWT who has given us a mercies and blessings until we
can stay here without anyproblems and obstacles

Shalawat and salam always be presented to our prophet Muhammad SAW who has brought
us from the darkness to the lightness, from the bed era to the good era

And I will never forget to say a million thanks to the master of ceremony who has given me a
golden opportunity to deliver my speech under the title "The Virtue of Charity."

Respected audience,

The first benefit of charity is that it is the cause of increasing sustenance. Instead of
diminishing, our wealth will actually grow when we engage in charity. Among the second
benefits of charity is that it is a clear manifestation of genuine goodness. Just as Allah
Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says in Surah Ali Imran, verse 92:

"You will not attain righteousness until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you
love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."

Ladies and gentlemen,

Let us not become Muslims who merely take the reminders of Allah lightly, but let us make
them an integral part of our beliefs. Let us not regret in the hereafter. As Allah says in the
Quran, in Surah Al-Munafiqun, verse 10:

"And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches
one of you and he says, 'My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would
give charity and be among the righteous.'"

Furthermore, in a Hadith, it's narrated that:

Narrated by Abu Dzar, may Allah be pleased with him, some of the companions of the
Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "O Messenger of Allah, the
wealthy people have gone away with the rewards. They pray as we pray, they fast as we fast,
and they give in charity from their excess wealth." The Prophet, peace be upon him, said,
"Has Allah not made for you ways to give charity? Every utterance of Allahu Akbar is
charity, every utterance of Alhamdulillah is charity, every utterance of Subhanallah is charity,
every utterance of La ilaha illallah is charity, enjoying good is charity, and forbidding evil is
charity, and in the sexual act of each of you there is a charity." They said, "O Messenger of
Allah, if one of us fulfills his sexual desire, will he have some reward for that?" The Prophet,
peace be upon him, said, "Do you not see that if he were to act upon it unlawfully, he would
be deserving of punishment? Likewise, if he were to act upon it lawfully, he will be deserving
of a reward." (Muslim)
