Statement of the Problem

The study aimed to determine the level of

preparedness of the level of preparedness of the freshmen

criminology students, A.Y. 2023- 2024, relative to their

emotional, academical and financial competence.

Specifically, this study sought answers to the following

questions:

1. What is the Demographic Profile of the respondents

in terms of:

1.1. Age;

1.2. Sex;

1.3. Parent’s Monthly Income;

1.4. Track taken in Senior High;

1.5. Mother’s Highest Educational Attainment; and

1.6. Father’s Highest Educational Attainment?

2. What is the level of the freshmen college students

in terms of:

2.1. Emotional preparedness;

2.2. Academic preparedness; and

2.3. Financial Preparedness?

3. Is there a significant relationship between the

demographic profile and level of preparedness of the

freshmen students of Criminology Department in DJEMC

for Academic Year 2022-2023?

Hypothesis

Ho1. There is no significant relationship between the

demographic profile and the level of preparedness of

the freshmen students of Criminal Justice Program in

DJEMFCST for Academic Year 2022-2023?

Understanding among the students of NEMCO in the Kabataan
Kontra Droga at Terorismo Program
