FedEx Personal Information Collection Statement

FedEx Express (“FedEx”) confirms that it recognizes your rights arising under applicable laws in
relation to all personal data which we obtain from you or collate in relation to you.

Collecting Personal Information

FedEx may collect personal information from you, in your capacity as a FedEx employee (“Personal
Information”). We may use your Personal Information for purposes including but not limited to the
following:

 Recruitment and selection;


 Compliance with and fulfilment of our statutory, legal and regulatory obligations, whether locally
or overseas, including compliance with any request from any governmental or regulatory
authority;
 Administration and management of personnel, including determining and reviewing salaries,
bonuses, and other benefits for you and your eligible dependant(s) if any;
 Administration of individual records during the course of employment or engagement;
 Personnel planning, training and development;
 Career and performance development, including consideration for promotion;
 Provision of personal reference or reference for any personnel-related activities (where
applicable and in accordance with local policy and guidelines);
 Disciplinary purposes arising from the conduct of personnel or their ability to perform services
for us properly;
 Administration of our business, including making tax returns and/or other related filings with
government authorities, whether locally or overseas;
 Corporate restructuring, reorganization, transfer, assignment of all or part of FedEx, its
employees or its businesses, or such similar purposes;
 Communication between us and our personnel, and between us and your family members in
relation to death, illness, injury or emergency in connection with work;
 Legal proceedings (including prospective legal proceedings) and obtaining legal advice, whether
locally or overseas;
 Establishing, exercising or defending legal rights, whether locally or overseas;
 Monitoring compliance with our internal rules and policies; and
 Employment-related activities after your employment ends, including, for example, matters
relating to post-employment benefits and allowing us to fulfil our contractual and statutory
obligations.

Sharing/Transferring Personal Information

We may share and/or transfer your Personal Information to other parties including but not limited
to the following:

 Our agents, contractors or third party service providers who provide support services to us in
connection with our HR management or the operation of our business, including but not limited
to our insurers, insurance brokers, bankers, medical practitioners providing medical services for
employees and administrators of any corporate benefit schemes;
 Any relevant government or regulatory authorities;

 Our affiliate companies, local or overseas, including but not limited to for matters related to
career planning/training and development; and
 Third parties in connection with any corporate restructuring, reorganization, transfer,
assignment of all or part of FedEx, its businesses, or such similar purposes.

There may also be situations in which we are compelled by law to disclose your Personal
Information. For instance, under certain circumstances we may be compelled to provide your
Personal Information to law enforcement agencies, or to government departments, authorities or
agencies.

Confidentiality and Indemnification

Whereas we will take all reasonable and necessary arrangements to ensure that Personal
Information in our possession or under our control is protected against unauthorized access,
collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, by signing this form you
waive any and all liability of FedEx and its affiliated companies and all their employees, contractors,
authorized agents and representatives, for any loss or damage occasioned through or as a
consequence of any disclosure or publication of your Personal Information, including as a result of
negligence or gross negligence.

Personal Information Requests

You have a right to request a copy of the Personal Information that we hold about you and
information about the ways in which we have used and disclosed that Personal Information. If you
would like this information, you may contact the Human Resources Services Department.

We want to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate and up to date. You may ask the
Human Resources Services Department to correct inaccurate information.

You may also ask us to stop collecting, using and disclosing your Personal Information at any time by
contacting the Human Resources Services Department. However, if you do not provide this Personal
Information or ask us to stop collecting, using or disclosing it, we may not be able to manage and
administer your employment or engagement (such as providing salary and benefits to you) or our
business, or comply with applicable laws.

By signing this Statement, I hereby agree that FedEx Express may collect, use and disclose Personal
Information relating to me in accordance with, and for the purposes stated in this Statement and
for any other purpose in accordance with applicable laws. This Statement comes into effect on the
date set out below and shall remain in force and effect unless or until amended or otherwise
withdrawn in writing, by me. FedEx employee:
