I. OBJECTIVES / LEARNING OUTCOMES


At the end of 1hr lesson, the students are expected to;
1. identify the order of the hierarchy of needs;
2. name the key advocate of the hierarchy of needs;
3. illustrate the hierarchy of needs.

Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
A. Materials
1. Manila Paper
2. Cartolina Strips
3. Sample Photos
4. Chalk (white / colored)

III. PROCEDURE
A. Preparation
1. prayer
2. daily routine (attendance)
3. review of the past lesson and activity (Schools of Management – Classical
School, Behavioral School)
4. motivation:
a. Distribute set of scrambled letters to ten sets of paired students.
b. They will form a word out of the scrambled letters in just one minute, and
stick it on the cartolina strip.
The following words are:
- bulad
- lugaw
- sikad
- kamalig
- kadula
- higala
- maratabat
- delikadesa
- paghikaplag
- pagpamalandong
c. After forming the words, post the cartolina strips on the board for
everyone to see.
d. Then show photos referring to the words form from the scrambled letters.
e. And let it be posted in the board for later use.

C. Generalization
Ask these questions to the students who will volunteer
Who made the “hierarchy of needs”?
What is the different hierarchy of needs?
What is the importance of the hierarchy of needs to management?
Is it purposeful?

IV. EVALUATION
A. Fixing Skills
* group the students into five group and make them illustrate the different
hierarchy of needs in a 3 minute role play.

B. Performance Test (individual)


Let the students illustrate in a ¼ sheet of paper the hierarchy of needs using the
words posted on the board.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Differentiate it Right: List down the details/information about the different schools of
management which an aspiring entrepreneur should be familiar with.
1. Classical School
2. Behavioral School
3. Quantitative School
