Course Description:
Welcome to this 4-week online course on stoichiometry! This course will take you through the
basics of stoichiometry and its precursors, including a brief introduction on dimensional analysis,
the mole, and limiting reactants. Every week you will have a video lecture, written practice, a
discussion, and a small assessment. Additionally, you will have a group project during week 3
and 4 with the classmates that you will meet during week 2.

Grade % Breakdown

A 90.0% - 100%

B 80.0% - 89.99%

C 70.0% - 79.99%

D 60.0% - 69.99%

F 0% - 59.99%

There is no weighted grading. All assignments will be graded at a certain value and grades will
be assigned based on the total points achieved over all assignments over the total points of the
assignments. Rubrics for each assignment will have point values clearly labeled as well as the
breakdown of the points in the assignment.
