● Students should perform well from slide 11 to 22. Slide 23 to 25 will be more

 Introduce yourself and interact with the students.
 Remind to the students the online class rules.

5 min Presentation of the baseline test PPT


● IGCSE Baseline Test (35 min)
● There will be a time allocated to each slide (1 min per point)
● You need a A4 paper (or equivalent), a pen and a calculator (If they don’t
have one, students will write their reasoning)

● Test correction (20 min)


● Proposed Marking scheme is adapted from IGCSE system for them to
grade themselves easily - It might not be perfectly clear but the grade is for
themselves so they can adapt iy.
Insights:

 Insist this test is for practice.


 It might be time challenging for weak class, but nice for good / strong classes.
 You can choose to share to students: First part is quite basic (slides 11-22) and then test
will be harder the end of the test (slides 23-25).

35 min Base-line test following the time given on each slide (1 min for each point, check the green value PPT
and play the watch).

15 min Correction with the marking scheme. PPT


Insist to student that marking system is just an indicator.
It can be hardly be interactive but if you have time, interact with students.
