The total crystallinity of the system was found to decrease with increase in
degree of crosslinking. There was a marked increase in the thermal stability as the
blend system was crosslinked with CA. They have described that CA crosslinking
produced compact bulk morphology and improved the homogeneity between PVA and
starch. The results of this study illustrate that citric acid can be an effective crosslinker
and/ or compatibilizer in PVA/starch/graphene nanocomposite

This research work is directly interconnected with my research interest. They
have improved the physical and mechanical properties of PVA by crosslinking with
citric acid. So, their job will be same as my research work too. Furthermore, they
对 incorporated some other materials 对 to impart better properties of modified PVA film. I
本 will do same work but a slight modified.
本 I have intended to induced catalyst which may
help to occur crosslinking reaction to remove water from inside of the PVA for making

it more hydrophobic and hydro-insoluble properties. Because, I have plant to apply
研 PVA as a food packaging film for研enhancing its service life. But PVA is extremely
究 water soluble which confines it 究 in many important applications. Due to having
excessive -OH groups which are water lover, PVA become readily soluble.
