that presents evidences for a claim in
order to let the reader know why it is
more favorable or less favorable.
CLASS: Ma’am, the introduction, body,
refutation and the conclusion.
CLASS: Ma’am, in the introduction it gives
the background of the topic. In the body, it
is the body paragraph where facts of the
given thesis statements of the essay are
written. It is where the arguments are
written to support the statements.
CLASS: In refutation, it is where you refute
the counterclaim. While in the conclusion,
you are going to summarize the
arguments, ma’am.
