Last month, I went on holiday with my parents. We went to South Africa for two weeks. It was amazing! We
stayed in Cape Town for a week, and then we drove in a big blue car to a city called Grahamstown for the second
week.

In Cape Town, we climbed Table Mountain. You should see the view from the top. It’s fantastic! I really liked the
food in Cape Town, too. There’s a kind of cake called malva pudding. It’s very sweet, but it’s delicious. I tried
some spicy food, too, like chakalaka!

We decided to go to Grahamstown because my uncle lives there. Grahamstown is quite a small city, but it has a
cathedral and a university. There’s a big park near Grahamstown that has lots of elephants. That was my
favourite thing about the holiday.

I want to go back to South Africa next year. I hope I can see the lions in the park next time!
