Materials:
You can use any cotton yarn suitable for hook size 2/3 mm.
Hook size 3 mm for the square
Hook size 2,5 mm for the head

- needle and scissors

Optional: textile glue

Size:

Abbreviations (US):
Sc – single crochet
Sl st – slipstitch
St – stitch
Sts - stitches
Ch – chain
R - row
Dc – double crochet
Tr – treble crochet
Inc - increase

Pattern:
Granny square:

Make a magic ring with pink color (hook size 3 mm)

R1: 8sc in magic ring, close with sl st.

R2: ch3 (counts as dc), *(1dc, 1tr,1dc) in next st**, 1dc in next st, repeat from * twice, from *
to ** once, close with sl st in top of beginning ch3.

R3: ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in next st, *(2dc, 1tr, 2dc) in tr**, 1dc in every st till next tr,
repeat from * twice, from * to ** once, 1dc in next st, close with sl st in top of beginning
ch3.

R4: ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in next 3 sts, *(2dc, tr, 2dc, ) in tr **, 1dc in every still next tr,
repeat from * twice, repeat from * to ** once, 1dc in next 3 sts, close with sl st in top of
beginning ch3. Fasten off yarn.

R5: attach new color in tr in corner, ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in every st till next tr, (2dc, 1tr,
2dc) in tr, 1dc in next 12 sts, turn, fasten off yarn.

R6: attach new color, ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in every st till tr (2dc, 1tr, 2dc) in tr, 1 dc in
every st till end of R, turn, fasten off yarn.

R7: attach new color, and repeat R6, fasten off yarn.

R8: attach new color in tr in corner of R6, ch1, (1sc, 1hdc, 1sc) in tr, 1sc in every st till last st
of this side, (1sc, 1hdc, 1sc) in last st, * sc around and (1sc, 1hdc, 1sc) in corner tr* repeat till
end, close with sl st, fasten off yarn.
Head:
Use skin color
R1: 6sc in magic ring (6)
R2: (inc) 6 x (12)
R3: (inc, sc) repeat (18)
R4: 1sc (inc, 2sc) repeat ( ) but finish with 1sc(24)
R5: (inc, sc3) repeat (30)
R6: 2sc, (inc, 4sc) repeat ( ) but finish with 2sc (36)
Fasten off and sew the end.

Embroider eyes, eyebrow and mouth before sewing

(or glue) to the granny square.

Hair:
With black yarn: ch20, start in 2nd ch from the hook; 19sc, fasten off.
Embroider some longer black sts from the middle of the the head to the sides.

Rose (3x):
Ch8, sc, hdc in first ch. 2hdc in every st, 1hdc in last st
Fasten off and fold into a rose shape. Sew to the head.

Decorate your square as you like.
