BOARDING HOUSE RULES

In order to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the house, tenants


are expected to follow the Boarding House Rules as listed below:

Within the premises


 STRICTLY No SMOKING
 Observe QUIET TIME starting at 10:00 PM. This is quiet time for all
who must keep noise to a minimum.
 Ensure Gate/Door is always secured/locked.

Room
 Practice common courtesy and respect of individual space.
 To avoid theft or loss of personal belongings, please make sure that they
are places inside your room and properly locked.
 Boarding house owner reserves the right to inspect room.

Cleanliness
 Please maintain a clean environment inside and outside your rooms.
 Please wipe dry the dining table and kitchen counter after use. If
needed, please sweep the floor for any fallen food crumbs/debris.
 Practice CLAYGO or CLean As You GO. Your fellow boarders are not
your personal house cleaners.
 Please throw your garbage in the proper garbage bin. Please
segregate your trash.

Toilet/Bathroom
 Please clean up after use. Remove fallen hair blocking the drainage and
make sure to dry the floor for next person to use.

Water and Electricity


 Please make sure to turn the faucets off after use.
 Please switch the lights off when not in use.
 Please unplug any appliances/chargers when not in use.
 Please unplug chargers before you sleep, avoid overnight charging
that may cause overheating and may lead to Fire.

Payment
 Pay your boarding bills on time.

Curfew
 No curfew

Raising Issues/Concerns
 Please do not hesitate to raise any issues/concerns/worries regarding
the Boarding House or fellow roommates to the owner. He/She’s
there to help you address your concerns.
