I. Objectives
At the end of the discussion, the learners will be able to:
a. define prepositions.
b. identify the location of objects using preposition s.
c. formulate short sentences using prepositions.
d. demonstrate preposition through actions.

II. Subject Matter

c. Materials: stuffed toy, flash cards, printed pictures, real
Philippine mango fruits

III. Procedure
a. Preparation
1. Greetings
2. Checking of attendance
3. Submission of assignments
4. Review of the past lesson

b. Motivation
1. Show the students a picture of the missing Pokémon whose name is
Pikachu.
2. Ask them to look for Pikachu
3. Direct them to search on their table, under their chairs, and in
their bags.
4. Upon finding Pikachu, introduce it to the class.

c. Presentation/Discussion
1. Introduce prepositions.
2. Show common examples of prepositions (in, on, and under).
3. Discuss each example and allow students to observe the given
pictures to understand the meaning of the words.
4. Demonstrate how to formulate simple sentences using prepositions.
5. Allow students to identify the location of the given objects in
the picture and guide them in formulating sentences.
6. Yuni has been watching quietly and now feels hungry and wants to
eat some food.
7. Search the bag and bring out the things inside it (3 Philippine
mangoes, a cup, and a book).
8. Introduce Philippine mango to the class.
9. Use these objects to encourage students to identify their location
using the prepositions.
10. Sentences to be formulated:
The mango is in the cup.
The mango is under the table.
The mango is on the book.

d. Generalization/Summary
1. Review the definition of preposition and the three 3 common
examples discussed.
