I. Executive Summary
A kangkong chips or a water spinach vegetable that fried coated with flour,
egg, cornstarch and other seasonings that became chips is not crowd-
pleasing but will be crowd-pleasing once distributed and offered at the
different sari-sari stores at our baranggay. The kangkong chips is so
affordable because it has a low and high prizes that range to 20-100 pesos.
This chips can be snacks, "ulam" and "pasalubong" due to its unique but
delicious taste. This product is good foe customers at any age since it is
delicious, nutritious and healthy snack.
The Birth of Kangkong Chips Original journey started in 2021 when Josh
Mojica, because of the motivation to help his family at financial needs, he
started his extensive experimentation with this business. At his aunt cooking
of "fried kangkong" he discovered a potential business opportunity. Soon he
acknowledged the health benefits and different but delicious taste of the fried
kangkong. And from there, Kangkong Chips Original was born. Our business
adopt that product because if the thinking that we would like to remake a
remarkable product at different place and make it popular to our place. We
will use the curiosity of the people about our product to gain a lot of
customers and gain popularity. At our logo, customers already informed what
will be our product and the three stars make them think that we rate our
product three stars, an excellent rating. We also put the actual kangkong
chips to the logo so that it will attract more customers, they will be curious
what is that chips and what will be the taste of that product. With its name
Crispy, it means that the chips will surely satisfy the customers expectations
about crispiness. The company name come from the production of the
product, crispy kangkong fritters, a crispy fried kangkong coated with flour,
egg, cornstarch, and other seasonings.
Vision
Crispy Kangkong Fritters aims to expand its production not only at stores at
our baranggay but also to San Juan and San Gabriel especially at the tourist
spots at those places. To give give people new delicious and healthy food.
Threats
• competition from other vegetable-based snacks especially the potato
chips and kamote chips, also the traditional banana chips
• Sides effects to customers health by consuming more kangkong chips
or some health problems concerns with the other ingredients we use
on production of kangkong chips
• possible not consistent on supplying good quality of kangkong
because of some environmental problems, it may have a big affect to
production and sakes of the product.
IV. Micro-environmental Analysis
A. Company
In year 2021 the Birth of Kangkong Chips Original journey started when Josh

B. Supplier
Suppliers will be the farmers of kangkong that are located within San Juan,
San Fernando and San Gabriel. We can also get some kangkong to Mr.
Oligo because there's a lot of Kangkong to their place. He public market can
also be our supplier.
C. Marketing intermediaries
Motor tricycle will be use on the distribution of the product to sari-sari stores
of our baranggay (naguirangan, talugtog, nadsaag, Dinanum, Panicsican
Cabaroan and Ili Norte) We would offer our product with free taste with the
sari-sari store's owner and some for the customers that may buy our product.
D. Customers
This snacks is good to person at any age,
Teen-ager:
It is good to the teen-ager who have their Strick diets, because it has low
calories and fat
Children;
It is also good to children, especially those who don’t like vegetable, instead
of giving them unhealthy snack, give them kangkong chips, it’s not just
delicious snacks but a healthy snacks too.
Elder: Elders do love Vegetables, and kangkong was almost present at every
Filipino dish, so kangkong chips was good to them not only that this is a
vegetable snacks and healthy snacks but also it would be new for their taste.
Tourist:
Chips are normal when it comes to snacks, but kangkong chips is not so
popular. It will be a good souvenir/”pasalubong” for them.
Customers can buy our product at the sari-sari stores where we distributed
our product.
E. Competition
One of the biggest competitors at sari-sari stores is the chicharon and the
processed potato chips. Those products are already known so it will be a hard
competitors, though kangkong chips is already known but only with fee
people, it may trigger their curiosity to the product and buy it. Banana chips,
kamote chips and Squash chips will be the strongest competitors of our
product.
F. Public
It will easily accept by the public since the product is a new kind of chips and
delicious and healthy snack. Public already accepted some veggie-chips so
kangkong chips is not exemption. Also kangkong chips are not too processed
and its ingredients are traditional Filipino ingredients. It is also not that too
pricey so public can adopt our product easily.
Weakness
• Not well known- Kangkong chips is still a starting product and not so popular
product, so it still doesn't have a loyal customers.
B. Market Trends
People tend to go at different places so kangkong chips is good to buy as
"pasalubong" do the tourist or pilipino who travels.
1. Target Market
The target markets will be the sari-sari stores at our baranggay
and probably the convention stores at the public market if the
sales at the sari-sari stores increase. Those places are
convenient place for the product and for the people that to buy, on
those places we offer our product we would also provide a free
taste. Our product is good to customers at any age since our
product is delicious, nutritious and healthy Vegetable snacks, and
basically people can buy our product Without thinking that it's
expensive because it is so affordable.
B. Pricing Strategy
Our product will be adopting the going rate pricing, but we will give some
discount to our loyal customers and for the customers who buys bundle of it.
C. Distribution Strategy
The distribution will be first focus at the sari-sari stores at our baranggay and
soon will expand its distribution at the convenience sore at the public market
when the people at our baranggay acknowledge our product. Those are the
places of distribution to have a easily access where people can easily see
and buy our product.
E. Financial Projection
Our product will range 20-100 (20, 50, 80, 100) and if at a week Monday to
Friday we distributed 300 packs (100 pieces for 20 pesos, 100 pieces for 50
pesos, 50 pieces for 80 pesos and 50 pieces for 100 pesos) that will have
16,000 thousand per week and 64,000 per month and 768,000 thousand per
year. If retailers increases the income will also increases and can possibly
reach 800,000 pesos to 1,000,000 pesos.
