MINUTE OF THE MEETING HELD VIA ZOOM ON SUNDAY 26th NOVEMBER 2023
OPENING PRAYER
The meeting started by 8:30pm with an opening prayer said by Pastor Victor Ikazuagbe

READING AND ADOPTION OF LAST MINUTE

The minute of last meeting was not read due to the absence of secretary. However John who
presided on the meeting gave a brief summary of our last meeting and also frowned at low
turnout of member at various meetings, he added that we should all encourage others to join
the meeting.

REVIEW OF OUR PROPOSED CONSTITUTION DRAFTING

John hinted that the way some of us just come into the group and cash out at will and has to
stop hence the need for a constitution to take care of all that, he advised that we should use
samples from other association to draw up our own. It was agreed that we take one topic each
for every meeting until we get a proper constitution ready. David was asked to read other
constitution sample on membership and we agreed on two points on membership as follows;
1 Life Membership
Anyone who graduated from Ambrose Alli University Business Administration 1997 - 2000 set is
a life member
2 Active Membership
He or she is someone who pays dues, attend at least 7 meetings in a year, and actively
participate in group activities.
It was unanimously agreed that we stop at membership, admins of the group to agree on Aims
and Objective then report back in the next meeting, our next topic will be on finance and
welfare

PRESENTATION OF BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION PIONEER SET OF 2000 DEPARTMENTAL

PROJECT
John maintained that we want to do a project of year 2000 pioneer set alone and the project is
to furnish a computer room our department which was unanimously agreed upon that the
project (N4million budget) may last for one year also that we need a project manager for the
activity.
It was mentioned that we should revisit/execute the last project and this cause some mix
reactions as follows;
We should not force anyone to join/support this group project that we should stay as one here,
There is need to respect one another in this group
We must stop mentioning names of persons and that we should stay focused on whatever we
want to achieve.

FORMATION OF CHAPTER
John mentioned that there is need to have chapter formation that they already have the North
America chapter formed, Victor reacted that the Edo/Benin chapter is taking shape already, it
was concluded that other chapters like Lagos and Port Harcourt chapter be formed.

20 BAGS OF RICE CHRISTMAS GIVE AWAY

John mentioned that we have to do something together as group activity that the idea is to
bring us together also that it is a way of giving back. It was concluded that we should put a
deadline to the contribution.

AOB
It was mentioned that Nathan music project is still ongoing hence he still needs our support in
kind and prayers.
We need to encourage everyone to pipe into the group activities once in while
John appreciated those that supported and represented at the last burial ceremonies
and 50th birthday/book lunch of Pastor Tunde.

John moved for the motion for adjournment and this was seconded by Akhigbe.

The meeting came to a close by 9:25pm with a closing prayer said by Apostle Peter Aghayedo
