I. PROJECT TITLE: AMACC Cares: Adopt-A-Barangay Program at Barangay 1, Bacolod City

II. RATIONALE: The project is created to enhance the quality of life for the residents by
offering technical training for high school students, livelihood projects for women and the
elderly, financial literacy programs in the form of training and seminars on business and
entrepreneurship, and capability and character building programs for the youth and leaders.

III. LEARNING THEMES: Develop the spirit of volunteerism and charity towards the
development of the community in aspects of education and literacy, environment, socio-
economic, and community health and welfare.

IV. LEARNING OUTCOMES:


This project specifically aims to;
a. Promote and enhance basic literacy and numeracy skills among children and adults;
b. Raising awareness by providing trainings in obtaining the goals of sustainable
environment especially in coastal communities;
c. Impart and develop skills related to socio-economic and livelihood advancement
d. Develop the spirit of volunteerism and compassion towards others.
