BEFORE THE ENGAGE


LESSON
“Good morning, class!” “Good morning, ma’am!”

Let’s begin our class with a prayer. (Prayer)

“Prayer”

The teacher asks: "Do you know that your body (Answer may vary)
can move in different ways?"

The teacher will present a song “My toes, my


knees.” (Watching)

Sing the song my toes my knees with action.


Teacher modeling, next teacher and pupils sing
the song together while doing the action.

As the energizer video ends, the teacher will give


an activity.

Can you name some parts of the body mentioned “Head, shoulder, knees, and
in the song? toes.”

As the teacher says point your head pupils will


point it.

“Let’s get to know the purpose or use of body parts”

The teacher will give a follow-up question about what


body part is used.

Then, the Teacher discusses and explains to pupils how
each part of the body moves specifically (hands, feet,
head, shoulder, knees, and toes)

Explanation:

Hands- Our hands help us hold things, eat, write, and


clap.

Feet- Allow us to walk, support our body weight, and


stomp our feet.

Head- We use our necks to move our head, it allows


the head to move from side to side, so we can turn our
face to look at something.

Shoulder – allows the arms to rotate and move around


in different directions.

Knees- allow us to bend, and support the upper body


weight.

Toes- Help us to balance our body while walking.

The teacher will inject values, based on the importance


of each body part and how to take care of each part.

“GROUP 3” Fast learners will name the part of the body


according to its movements.
