DAY 3
REFLECTION:I have learns to pace out myself, and to give out energy accordingly, and not to
exert myself in the first half of the class. I have built more stamina, and I have overcome my
inhibition of dancing in front of others. I have become slightly more expressive with my dancing.

DAY 3
PARTICIPANTS:
REFLECTION:The most challenging thing about Zumba is the speed at which the instructor
goes at. Also the steps he does is unknown to the students, making it more difficult to stay to the
beat and follow the dance movements he makes exactly.

DAY 4
PARTICIPANTS:
REFLECTION:apart from those aspects I want to improve on, the activity has been successful
as I had previously envisioned it to be. I have developed a more respectful attitude, as not all the
people who do Zumba are our age, and therefore I have learnt to be respectful of their
capabilities, and not to be judgemental of their skills or excuse any mistake they make which
affects me. We have to work collaboratively to dance as a team and a group, and to have a
successful routine, and to move in the right direction so no one gets hurt.

REFLECTION
Zumba dance is a dynamic and exhilarating form of exercise that combines elements of dance
and fitness. As I reflect on Zumba, I am reminded of the numerous positive aspects and benefits
it offers. First and foremost, Zumba is incredibly fun. The energetic music, vibrant
choreography,
and lively atmosphere create an environment that encourages participants to let loose and enjoy
themselves. It doesn't feel like a traditional workout routine but rather a joyful and exhilarating
dance party. This aspect is particularly appealing for those who find traditional exercise routines
monotonous or boring. Furthermore, Zumba is highly inclusive and accessible to people of all
ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds. It doesn't require any prior dance experience or expertise,
making it a welcoming activity for beginners. The choreography is often designed to be simple
and repetitive, allowing participants to quickly pick up the moves and feel a sense of
accomplishment. This inclusivity fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among Zumba
enthusiasts, creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
RANIONALE
Zumba targets lots of different muscle groups at once for total body toning. Boosts your heart
health. You not only get aerobic benefits (it really gets your heart rate up), you also get anaerobic
benefits – the kind that help you maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system. Helps you
de-stress.
