OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED BY BACHELOR OF

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION STUDENTS DURING FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the opportunities and challenges encountered

by BEEd college students of Saint Vincent College of Cabuyao (SVCC) during the

implementation of face-to-face classes.

Specifically, this sought to answer the subsequent research questions:

1. What are the opportunities and challenges that the BEEd students encountered

during face-to-face classes?

2. What are the emerging themes that arise in the significant statement of

Bachelor of Elementary Education students about opportunities and challenges

they encountered in the implementation of face-to-face classes?

3. What outputs may be made available to students to help them strengthen their

opportunities and overcome the challenges they encountered during face-to-

face classes?

Research Instruments

Interview Guide Question served as the primary instrument of data

gathering in the present study. Interviews have always been a crucial component

of research (Olthmann, 2016). It is the main research instrument employed in

qualitative research and the most direct, research-focused approach of participant

contact (Doody et al., cited by Monday, 2020). A structured interview strategy was

adopted in this study, in which questions are determined before the interview, in

an open-ended conversational format. In qualitative research, the highly structured

format is used primarily to gather sociodemographic information and this approach

makes it easier to comprehend the issue from the individuals who are the subject

of the study.
