REFLECTION
This lesson plan was borrowed, and after analyzing it, I discovered that it only used
cognitivism theory and that the information was presented solely through digital multimedia,
such as showing pictures of different types of convenience outlets. This was good, but I realized
something was missing. It lacks active participation, and there is no activity that will improve
the student's critical thinking. For example, analyzing what will be the appropriate types of
convenience outlets based on the location or situation.
REFLECTION
This activity/project, wherein I've commented and written suggestions in the borrowed
lesson plan, made me realize that if we want to ensure a more well-rounded and engaging
learning experience for the students, we need to make learning objectives that contain the
three domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) and 4C's. Through this, our lesson will
promote a deeper understanding of the topic. It is also important to have a collaborative task to
build the self-confidence of the student.
REFLECTION
As technology continues to evolve, Google Workspace plays an important role for both
students and teachers, especially in pandemics. Google Meet emerged as a critical component,
facilitating online classes, virtual meetings, and collaborative discussions. The seamless
integration of video conferencing capabilities into Google Workspace bridged the gap between
physical and virtual learning environments, providing a lifeline during times of disruption. This
activity taught me to be adaptable to every situation that may arise.
REFLECTION
Using all the feedback and recommendations, I revised the lesson plan that I had
borrowed for this activity. Using the three domains, I create three learning objectives. To
improve the lesson plan, I also make sure that the objectives feature the 4Cs or make use of
them. By completing this task, I have gained knowledge on how to formulate effective
objectives and to use more creativity and imagination when designing activities, which will help
students grasp the subject matter and learn more effectively.
REFLECTION
While creating this infographic, I also learned that 80% of the 1,143 respondents aged
13-16 have experienced cyberbullying. In today's time, most social media platforms are heavily
used for bullying. I also found out that in the Philippines, the percentage of males and females
experiencing cyberbullying is not significantly different, with 44% for males and a slightly lower
43% for females. Nevertheless, there are still ways that everyone should be aware of to prevent
cyberbullying.
REFLECTION
All the previous activities I did helped me a lot in making this lesson plan. After I did the
lesson, I realized that it was very important to choose or create an objective that would ensure
the student would learn the subject or topic. This activity also taught me to consider the
selection of instructional methods, analyze learners, and engage in continuous reflection for
improvement.
