Retail Sales – Strategic Partnership & Alliance

We are India’s Largest, Profitable 550+ member P2P Fintech registered with RBI based out of Mumbai
with offices in 10+ cities in India. We had recently raised a Series A round of nearly 80+ Crs valuing us
at approx. 1500+ Crs. We are a 5-year young high growth fintech growing at 200% CAGR, founded by
successful co-founders who had cofounded a company earlier (Rentomojo) which has a 1000+ Cr
valuation with marquee investors in that company like Bain Capital, Accel & Samsung Family Treasury.
In the current company we have raised capital from ex-ceo of Barclays wealth india, CRED to name a
few.
What we do as a company:
We are a new super-fast growing fintech (P2P) platform facilitating lending & borrowing i.e., in simple
terms we are a small fintech version of bajaj finance i.e., we provide consumer and personal loans to
the borrowers and on the same platform we raise capital from investors to help them make a higher
& safer return on their capital.
Your role entails getting end investors via the B2B route i.e., by souring, empanneling, managing and
deepening relationships with Wealth Mgmt Firms, National Distributors, Stock Brokers, MFDs & IFAs.
These partners earn commissions to distribute our fixed income invst product to their clients and
getting us investments, which is then used for lending purposes (from the returns here, investors get
paid).

Role Summary

We are looking for Zonal Head who can manage a team, acquire (20%) + leverage existing relationships
(directly and indirect via city wide RMs). Candidate needs to have an active large B2B distribution
connects + fixed income sales experience (preferred).
This person would be also managing P&L for the region, will ensure Y-o-Y growth, increase team
strength.
We want someone who wants to disrupt fixed income B2B sales and grow & establish India’s fastest
growing new asset class which is being adopted and distributed by 1500+ PAN India Top IFAs;
(Including Top Stock Brokers, Listed Financial Intermediaries.

Responsibilities:

- Acquisition of B2B Partners,


- Deepening Relationships and Increasing Wallet Share from Existing B2B Partners.
- Eventually Managing & Scaling-up a Large Portfolio of Client Assets in the Fixed Income
Investment Product.
- Generating investments from channel partners.
- Managing tie-up for investments from IFA Channel, ND’s, Stock Brokers & Wealth segment
etc
- Conducting Product training on regular basis for clients & channel partners for investment
similar to fixed-income Assets
- Engagement & Generating business from IFA Segment.
- Responsible for managing sales activities in the region.
- Handle channel partners, Distributors for Companies own Investment Product.
- Creating daily MIS and reports.
- Conducting business engagement activities with these partners.
- Insuring portfolio review and counselling on high end investors is conducted regularly
- Focus on increasing AUM size month on month basis
- Acquire & Manage Distribution Partners / Create Alliances
- Garner Investments via Financial Distributors
- Excellent in team management, should be able to manage team of 7-10 RM's.
- Good understanding of Global + Indian Financial Markets
- Knowledge across investment products: Fixed Income, Equity, Real Estate & Other
Alternatives
- Strong Analytical skills
- Understand and analyse various business models in the fintech lending space and identify
partnership opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating the benefits of
partnerships.
- Coordination with internal stakeholders (Operations, Product, Tech & Legal teams) for
handling end to end responsibilities of the partnership and act as a bridge to deliver all the
requirements of the partner.
- Solving problems through structured thinking, project planning and hands-on execution.
- Analysis of the gaps in the existing process and optimization of the same as strategic
projects
- Identify new sales leads, pitch products and maintain fruitful relationships with existing
partners alongside developing a partnership pipeline.
- Be proactive about solving problems and take additional initiatives and responsibilities as
and when they emerge

Required Experience

- CA (Preferred) / BBA, MBA (Finance) / CFA / Post Graduate from top collage / University.
- Min 7-10 Years of relevant experience in Business Development of Financial Sales
- B2B sales experience is must. (Finance Product sales highly preferred)
- Should have managed 7-10 Sales RM's. Should be ready to take targets and own P&L.
- Should be excellent in cross functional stake holder management with shades of sales
(preferred).
- Prior experience in handling fintech partnerships is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Ms Excel
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Experience with growth marketing & communication is a plus
- Candidate should be ready to work from either Bangalore / Chennai Office.
