With the advanceMENT OF technology, an increasing number of customers have tended to

purchase through websites or applications nowadays. The reason is mainly because they
can avoid wasting time going to shopping malls. However, this trend will lead to unemploy-
ment for salespeople in malls and more internet frauds. In this essay, I will explore my ideaS
and provide examples to SUPPORT THEM.

Modern CONSUMERS choose to purchase everything online just due to THE FACT THAT
IT IS LESS time-CONSUMING than going to physical shops. It’s more CONVENIENT to
browse WEBSTORES of clothes or stuff on customers’ own smartphones, WHICH SAVES
saving time for THEM. Therefore, shopping online is more suitable for most of the customers
who are busy or just IDLE in recent days. In a Taiwanese street interview(WHEN?) CON-
DUCTED LAST YEAR, almost 70% of intervieweEs SAID THEY preferREWD shopping on-
line because it COULD help THEM TO save time.

However, the trend OF CITIZENS tendING to purchase GOODS online causes two major is-
sues, namely the unemployment for salespeople and a rising number of internet frauds.
There WON’T BE any demand for salespeople if customers CONTINUE TO choose to pur-
chase through the internet. Additionally, it’s easier to DECEIVE (BE DECEPTIVE TO) BUY-
ERS about the quality of the products online because THEY will only receive the products af-
ter purchasing. In A RECENT report in Taiwan, 80% of the customers have experienced be-
ing unsatisfied about the products they receiveD from online stores due to the poor quality.

Nowadays, shopping online can make customers spend less time VISITING PHYSICAL
STORES, which is the main cause that LEADS to a rising number of buyers. However, it
does have drawbacks, NAMELY that some salespeople may lose their jobs and the HIGHER
occurrence of internet frauds.
