BUSINESS OF THE DAY:

The club faces several important matters for discussion, including a concern involving
the excommunicated member who has refused to release the account book. Initially, the
excommunicated member, Mr. Itse, had expressed grievances to the TM before stating
his intention to sue the club due to the terms used in the excommunication letter. Mr.
Itse found the terms reminiscent of those used by secret cults or the Catholic Church. He
further voiced dissatisfaction with the delivery method of the letter through his
daughter.

The TM assured the members that he would investigate the delivery process with the
secretary. Despite a subsequent call from Mr. Itse, the excommunicated member
remained adamant about not releasing the account book. After extended discussions,
Mr. Itse acknowledged that he may have gone too far with his statements and
eventually agreed to return the account book to the club.

After careful consideration, the club decided to explore alternative means to address the
signatory issue at the bank on Friday. The matter concerning the excommunicated
member was deemed closed and should not be discussed further.

The TM also brought up the issue of hosting, emphasizing the need for all members to
actively support hosting events organized by fellow members next year. Members
practiced the anthem in preparation for its singing at the flag unveiling event scheduled
for Saturday.

Unique Akpeji proposed that, in celebration of the club's 10th anniversary, certain areas
of the club should be painted. Suggestions were invited for the design of banners and
other related considerations. However, Unique Akpeji cautioned against shutting down
members who put forth suggestions, emphasizing that openness to ideas is crucial for
the club's progress. Notably, he was unaware that it was already the 10th anniversary.

The TM echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that equality among all members forms the
foundation and stability of the club. In response to concerns about suspended
members, Unique G O suggested that those under suspension should demonstrate
commitment. He also cautioned the TM against being too lenient with suspended
members.
In preparation for the flag unveiling on Saturday, the club unanimously chose blue and
yellow as the colors for the club uniform to be put on by members.

The initiation of gift sharing by members for the AGM was initiated.

Following this, with no additional discussions, the ATM proposed the motion to adjourn
the meeting, which was seconded by Unique Kingsley. Prior to the closing prayer, the
club anthem was sung, and the meeting concluded at 11:04 PM with the closing prayer
led by the ATM.
