b. Emphasize the importance of Affixes in alternating a word, and
c. Form words using prefix and suffix

What is Prefixes/Prefix?
Prefixes are words that are found
at the beginning of the word.

that are found at the beginning of the
base word or the root word. Prefix is a
special group of letters because it can
change the meaning of the root word and
make an entirely new word. A prefix is a
group of letters and not a word that can
stand on its own.

Like for example:

make words by the use of prefixes. Now
lets move on to the suffixes.
What is Suffixes/ Suffix?
Suffixes are words that are found
at the end of the word.

Very good! Suffixes are group of


letters added at the end of a word to form
another word or new meaning.
