NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE

KICK-OFF PROGRAM OF THE
CATCH-UP FRIDAYS

Through the joint efforts of the reading coordinators and the rest of the
teaching staff, spearheaded by the school principal, the kick-off program
for Catch-up Fridays was successfully held in the morning of January 19.
The program was commenced with a prayer by Mrs. Dialyn Pinmiliw,
followed by the orientation regarding the overview and some important
points that the learners should know about the implementation of the
Catch-up Fridays which was discussed by Dr. Jennifer B. Lazaga. She also
fostered the importance of reading and reiterated that the said program
will be implemented accordingly and religiously. The program was
highlighted with the showcasing of different reading/oral presentations
such as choral reading, spoken poetry, oratorical speaking, reader’s
theater and the like coming from each grade level. After all the
presentations, the program was culminated with words of gratitude given
by Mrs. Marlyn Licnad.
In the afternoon, the continuation of Catch-up Fridays was implemented
wherein teachers applied appropriate strategies in fulfilling the designed class
program of the day.
