MEMORANDUM

TO : All Company Commanders

SUBJECT : Intensification of Police Operations

DATE : March 23, 2024

1. Reference: Memorandum from Chief, ROD dated March 23, 2024 with
subject stated above.
2. This pertains to the armed encounter between one (1) Platoon of Charlie
Coy, 74IB, 2ID, PA led by 2LT JAY RALD P POLICARPIO (INF) PA and more or less
five (5) members of CTGs under Sub Regional Guerilla Unit (SRGU) that transpired
at about 12:55 PM of March 23, 2024 at the vicinity of GC 51PYP 36000-77348 of
Brgy. Magsaysay, Mapanas Northern Samar.
3. In this regard, alert all your subordinate and advise them on the following:

a. Intensify target hardening measures;

b. Avoid unnecessary administrative movements using marked vehicles;
c. Intensify intelligence/ information gathering thru BINS and other Intel
units;
d. Nearby police stations where the encounter happens shall monitor
hospitals/clinics for any victims of gunshot wounds;
e. Advise all our personnel including those deployed as RPSB to be
vigilant/alert at all times; and
f. Conduct of Simultaneous Hard Checkpoints to all vehicles.

4. Submit report on the results of your actions taken to this Office (Attn.
Operation Section) NLT March 24, 2023.
