invaluable guidance, unwavering support, and insightful feedback throughout the entire
research process. More so, I would also like to extend my appreciation to my colleagues
Engineers Mara Katrina Panoy, Bernadine Fajardo, Ken Lester Jariol and fellow
whose expertise in the field of water management has greatly helped materialized this
study and to his sleepless nights, support during my writing days and helping me with my
constant source of motivation. I would also like to thank our bosses, Engr. Raul A. Jabile,
Engr. James Gonida and Engr. Reyma Mag-Aso for allowing and supporting us in this
academic journey.

ABSTRACT
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Water Pressure Management Scheme
(WPMS) in the Lubogan area, Davao City with a primary focus on its impact on water
pressure, customer perceptions, and water consumption patterns. Before the WPMS
implementation, the mean water pressure measured 25.67 psi, falling below the
implementation, a remarkable improvement was observed, with the mean water pressure
surging to 27.67 psi. The study also delved into customer perceptions of water pressure.
Before WPMS, customers rated their water supply at an average of 2.11, expressing
dissatisfaction with its availability. After WPMS, the rating improved to 3.62, indicating
a more positive perception of the service. The study also examined 10-day water
consumption patterns before and after WPMS implementation. Before, it averaged 3.88
cubic meters, well within limits. After, it increased slightly to 4.16 cubic meters, showing
stable and manageable patterns. Although statistical analysis using a Paired T-Test did
not reveal a significant difference in mean water pressure before and after the WPMS
consumption patterns were evident. The study recommends optimizing WPMS through
maintenance, communication, and resources, with government support and funding for
standards.
