What are the benefits and drawbacks of such a claim? First of all, driving courses increase
responsibility, showing that the decisions we make influence not only us but also other people.
Moreover, the driver's license means a possibility to be more independent. It allows young people to
drive to school or to work solo. It takes the heat off their parents. In addition to this, students from
the villages don’t need to waste that much time on waiting for a bus or other means of transport.
They finish their lessons and might quickly come back to home. On the other hand, not everyone at
the age of eighteen is prepared mentally to drive. There are no psychological tests checking how
people react to stressful situations that might happen on the road. Furthermore, young adults have
less experience in life so automatically they don’t pay that much attention to the consequences of
their actions. Sometimes the fun is more important for them than the safety. Also they are mostly
under presion of their age-mates, to impress them they also take risks, not thinking in a responsible
way. That provides lots of car crashes. To sum up, the possibility of driving increases maturity, but
not always. Everyone should think twice about which time for making a driving course is the best for
them. It makes lives much easier, but it is a huge responsibility too
