B. Motivation:
Now, I have a song here entitled
“Homographs Song”

Homographs are types of


homonyms (The pupils sing the song entitled Homographs

meanings…

C. Presentation:
Today we will focus on homographs
and their meanings.

So HOMO means the same or


similar and GRAPHS means writing.

Homographs are words that are

meanings.

meanings.
E. Guided Practice:
Now, let’s practice together.
Choose the meaning expressed by “Okay, ma’am”
the italicized homographs in each
sentence. Write the correct answer
only in your notebook.

F. Independent Practice:
Now, I will give you a sentences
containing homographs. You will
need to read each sentence
carefully and choose the correct
meaning of the homograph based
on the context. Work on it
individually, and let me know when
you're done.
