Settling In to live. In school you can help your teacher sweep the floor, pick up pieces
of paper, throw your own trashes into the designated baskets, help maintain
the school ground clean. Some of you are assigned to be leaders in the
group or members of the different clubs and organizations. You can
participate in your school activities that promote solid waste management
and be a member or a leader of a club/s with program and activities on
helping our environment clean and a healthy place for everyone.

This lesson will help you to become responsible in thinking of a healthy

place for you to live. Being a learner you should show your roles in taking
care of your environment through participating in the different school
activities.

D. Wrap Up In your home your parents trained you to be a responsible person in the
future. They ask you to help in cleaning your house by fixing your bed,
washing the dishes, and sweeping the floor and other simple tasks that you
can do.

Throwing your waste in the trash can and picking up piece of paper on the
floor are also good things to do. You also play important roles in the
community by doing those tasks or activities in your schools to keep your
surroundings clean. Let us help one another to make our school and
community safe and clean. If we keep our environment clean, we also take
good care of future generation as to their health and well-being.
