What is SAP?
SAP stands for
Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing

English :
German: System Analyse und Programmentwicklung
It is an enterprise-wide software application with modules based on business areas such as finance, sales and materials
management.
These SAP modules are fully integrated and share common data.

A password can consist of:

 Eight characters at least
 Letters a - z, A - Z
 Numbers 0 - 9
 Punctuation, but not with "?" "!" or a blank space.
 Must be easily remembered
 Must be Kept secret

1. Select the menu path:

Start  All Programs  SAP Frontend  SAPlogon
2. OR symbol on your desktop
=> double-click it to access the SAP Logon dialogue box.

Standard Toolbar
The toolbar contains a series of Equivalent to the key on your

common function icons keyboard
If an icon appears “greyed-out”,
the function is disabled for this Saves and posts data

Returns you to the previous screen or function
Exits out of a transaction or menu level
Cancels any data you have entered in a screen

and returns you to the top level screen of the
current function
Provides help for the current field.

<F1> key is the equivalent.

 The label text, describing the field
 The input or display area.
Fields in SAP can be:
 Optional,

Start a transaction in SAP
There are 2 ways:

1. Menu Path - Use the mouse to drill-down a series of menu options.

1. Sử dụng menu – Dùng chuột để mở đến tác vụ cần thực hiện.
Transaction code - From the SAP Easy Access screen, type the transaction code in the Command field and press
or click on
Sử dụng mã câu lệnh (t-code): Nhập câu lệnh vào ô như hình bên dưới và nhấn nút hoặc nhấp vào
/n This allows you to jump to the required transaction from any screen.
/o This allows you to create new screen with the required transaction from any screen.

/n : khi gõ “/n” trước 1 t-code, đóng giao tác hiện tại và chỉ mở giao tác cần.
/o: khi gõ “/o” trước 1 t-code, giữ giao tác hiện tại và mở thêm giao tác cần.

Working with SAP Sessions
You can work on several tasks at once by opening several sessions.
To open a new session, select the Create session function in the system menu. SAP opens a new window in which you
can work on a different task independently of other sessions.
 Remarks
 You can open up to six sessions for each user session.
 To activate a session, click on any part of the window containing the session you require.

Làm việc với nhiều màn hình SAP
Bạn có thể làm 1 lúc nhiều màn hình trên SAP.

Để mở 1 màn hình mới, chọn nút Create session trên thanh công cụ. SAP sẽ mở một cửa sổ mới và bạn có thể làm nhiều
màn hình trên các cửa sổ khác nhau.
 Lưu ý:
 Bạn có thể mở tối đa 6 màn hình một lúc.
 Để kích hoạt 1 màn hình bạn chỉ cần nhấp chuột vào màn hình bạn muốn.

Messages in SAP
SAP messages are displayed in the status bar of the SAP screen. The status bar is located at the bottom of
the SAP screen.
Error: You have made an incorrect entry.

You cannot continue until you correct the error.
Warning: You have made a potential error.

Check the entry before continuing.
A warning message does not prevent you from
continuing with the transaction.
Information: Provides helpful information.
For example, “Document 10000030 created”.

Thông báo của SAP hiển thị ở thanh trạng thái trên màn hình SAP. Thanh trạng
thái nằm ở góc cuối bên trái
Lỗi: Bạn đã nhập sai thông tin yêu cầu.

Không thể tiếp tục nếu chưa khắc phục
Cảnh báo : Bạn có thể nhập sai 1 lỗi hoặc thực hiện sai một thao tác
Kiểm tra lại nhập liệu trước khi tiếp tục.
Đây là một thông điệp cảnh báo, không có tính ngăn chặn.
Do đó bạn vẫn có thể tiếp tục thực hiện thao tác

Choose from the available list
SAP is customized to display information that XXXX considers valid for some data entry fields. This
information is contained in lists
If a field has a list, user can see one of those below symbol:

SAP cho phép bạn chọn thông tin cho các trường dữ liệu bằng cách tìm kiếm trên 1 danh sách có sẵn.

To display keys in the list, users need to choose Customized Local Layout on status bar
Để hiển thị key trong danh sách, đầu tiên người dùng phải chọn biểu tượng Customized Local Layout trên
thanh công cụ chuẩn.

Choose Interaction Design => Visualization & Interaction on the screen

After that choose Show keys within dropdown list in Control.
Press or click on OK
Chọn thư mục Interaction Design => Visualization & Interaction trên màn hình bên trái.
Sau đó nhấp vào bản Show keys within dropdown list trong mục Control.
Nhấn nút hoặc chọn nút OK

Nhấp chọn Display technical names như màn hình bên dưới

 If system announce: “You are not authorized to perform this function”
 Access into T-code SU53 or /nSU53 and press
=> Capture picture and send to BASIS team
Câu lệnh kiểm tra lỗi phân quyền
 Sau khi hệ thống báo lỗi : “You are not authorized to perform this function” (VN - bạn không được phân quyền thực
hiện trong chức năng này).
 Bạn hãy gõ T-code SU53 hoặc /nSU53 trong ô nhập dữ liệu ngay lập tức.
 => Sau đó nhấn nút
 => Chụp hình màn hình và gởi đến người có thẩm quyền (nhóm BASIS)
