I haven’t attended any project/program/event of AIESEC before. I really want to join a

project/program/event of AIESEC in the future because I live in a small village in Khanh Hoa
Province. Although I knew about AIESEC for a long time, I didn’t have a chance to join. Now
that I'm studying at a university in Hanoi, I really hope I can’t attend a project/program/event of
AIESEC, whether I can become an AIESECer or not.

 Who are you? Please share 3 significant points that represent you the
most.

You can share about: your personal value, your belief, someone you
idolize,...

If there's one word to describe myself, I’d say ‘empathy’. I’m an introvert; I like being alone and
crying often, and there’s a lot of trouble, but I like to hear people talk and want to be around and
share with them. That's what motivates my efforts and my desire to develop myself. I want to be
better and develop myself because I care about people, especially their mental health, so I want
to devote myself to the community, reconsider people's psychological problems, and empathize
with people who have problems with their mental health.

I think there’s a quote that I’ve always kept in mind and followed: “Whatever happened is the
only thing that could have happened”. How many times have we asked ourselves, “If only I had
done that differently..., maybe it would have been different”. But time can’t go back. Every
single situation in life that we encounter, anyone with whom we interact, they all appear for
some reason. Good or bad, it leaves us with valuable memories and lessons. Always be ready to
accept and overcome them.
I can say that my mother is the one who has the most influence on me. My mom is a teacher in
primary school; she’s a normal woman, an imperfect person, and she is my mom. She's hot-
tempered, sometimes blaming me for nonsense or grousing me at any moment. However, she
loves me unconditionally. My mother is very stingy, but for me, she’s never regretted anything
for me to have a full life so that I can study and enjoy the best educational environment she can
give me. My mother teaches me how to love the imperfect things, love myself, care for, and
empathize with everyone. She’s the reason I’m the way I am today.

 If you have joined any Extra Curricular Activities before in your high
school/ university, please share with us your TOP 3 Activities that you are
proud of and your learning points from those activities. (Maximum 300
words)*
I didn't join any Extra Curricular Activities before in high school. Because I
haven’t had a chance to join, and partly because I’m shy. That’s why I’d love to
be part of AIESEC to have a chance to attend more activities and have lessons
for myself. Wanting to be an AIESECer, I hope I can learn a lot of new things,
develop myself, and have valuable learning points. I hope that I will learn more
about society and more about volunteering in Vietnam and abroad to broaden my
knowledge. Besides, I expect to develop new and essential skills for my future
work, such as leadership, communication, teamwork, management, and
problem-solving skills. Above all, I hope to learn from my friends, experienced
people in AIESEC, new lessons about their attitudes toward life and work. I want
to learn from them responsibility, enthusiasm, self-confidence, and initiative to
complete myself.

I've known about AIESEC since I was in high school, but because I studied in a small village,
I couldn't participate in the activities of AIESEC. Knowing AIESEC is a global platform for
young people, I searched AIESEC's programs and activities and found that I really had to
join AIESEC. I'm interested in AIESEC's volunteer activities and internship opportunities, as
well as activities for young people around the world. These are activities that are always
focused on social issues such as peace, school violence, the environment, LGBT+, and mental
health, all of which are important issues that the world and young people are facing in today's
social context. Through this, AIESEC has fulfilled the mission of building and developing a
community of conscious young people, developing young people's abilities, enhancing their
leadership, and bringing valuable experiences to young people from which young people can
improve their identity and bring things that are useful to society. I appreciate the messages
and the mission that AIESEC sends to young people today, which are the same things that I
wish to pursue and experience. That's what motivates me to join AIESEC to work together
towards a goal that AIESEC is pursuing.

 Please tell us about your biggest failure in the past and how you overcame
it. (From 100-300 words) *

chính bản than mình

I think my biggest failure in the past was when I took the exam to pick up the
good students selection team in 12th grade

I was then chosen by the teachers who trusted me to participate in the

competition to select the good students with the desire to be chosen into the
province's team.
But because I felt I wasn't competent enough to participate in the competition
and with the thought, 'Any way fails' I didn't try my best for the competitive. But
it's only really bad when I take the title up, feel helpless because the test is my
strength, but I don’t have enough knowledge in my head and the calm to solve it.

As a result, as you know, I couldn’t join the provincial team. The teachers didn't
blame me, on the contrary, they comforted and encouraged me a lot. That's why I
feel more guilty to your teachers than I feel to myself.

Through it, I learned valuable lessons for myself. When you do something, don't
just think about the outcome, do your best, do it with all your heart. Don't just
think it's too hard not to do it, you only really know your abilities when you get
serious about doing it. When you do something, try your best not to two words “
If only”

society, as young people who are witnesses, who are deeply aware of the
problems in society, who have the desire and desire to develop
themselves, integrate with the world, connect globally and thus master
themselves and master society. They don't stop learning, they have a
positive impact on society and they're not afraid of failure. That's youth
