Overview:
This Unified Integrative Performance Assessment Tool (UNIPEAT) is collaboratively developed by the
teachers in Mathematics, Science, Music and TLE-ICT-CSS. With this UNIPEAT the learner will be able to
describe a proportion (Mathematics); design / create an Ads / brochure / comic strip to show advocacy on
the use of Geothermal energy (Science); improvises appropriate accompaniment to selected music from
romantic period (Music) and identify correct drawing; select and use equipment with job requirements
(TLE - ICT-CSS)

Situation The Philippines is facing energy insecurity problems such as electricity demand is
growing fast, the supply of electricity is often short in demand and the discrepancy in
electrification rate between cities and rural areas. Although Geothermal energy is
renewable it takes a longer time to replace. As a promoter you will create a brochure
that will show an advocacy on the use of geothermal energy.

DIRECTIONS: Make a brochure showing the advocacy on the use of Geothermal
Energy.

SCIENCE Brochure must contain what is Geothermal energy and its


advantages. You must promote the use of Geothermal energy in
your community and why people should be opted to use it.

Guide Question:
1. What is geothermal energy?
2. Identify the advantages of using Geothermal energy.

MATHEMATICS The brochure must have proportional size.


Choose the type of the brochure (fold) and the size of the paper
you like to use, then make a measurement to make the fold of
your brochure proportional. Write the measurement below the
brochure.

Guide questions:
1. How many folds of the brochure did you use?
2. What is the length of each fold of your brochure?
3. Do the measurements differ if you use another size of
the paper?

MUSIC Create a song that will show advocacy in the use of Geothermal
energy. The Lyrics of the song will be written in your brochure.
