I. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE

The knowledge in Disaster Preparedness is not something that everyone is eager
to learn. They might know the basics, but not on how to fully act upon a real scenario.
Most people would only rely on professionals whose knowledgeable in that branch of
activity. Training an organization to be prepared in responding to emergency
situations would highly benefit the school as they can act as another safety personnel
that students, teachers, and other people can run to and ask for help. With the
knowledge and responsibility that they will learn in the seminar, they can respond as
immediate back up when professionals are not around. Trained to be responsible,
reliable, and have critical thinking skills in order to help promote the safety of
everyone.

II. OBJECTIVES

This training program is renowned for its expertise in the abilities that we want our members to hone
in order to help save lives and respond during emergency situations, thus, the following are the main
goals of this training:

a. Gain knowledge about disasters.

b. Hone skills that are required in responding to emergencies.

c. Improve job/role performance in the organization.

e. Engage in critical thinking about duty responsibilities.
