I am a person who believes in trust, courage, and hard work. I have a strong conviction that one can
attain success by dedicating every moment to their profession, taking calculated risks, and relying on
karma. I have a great deal of patience and do not believe in shortcuts, always opting for the longer
and tougher route to achieve my goals.

MOST RECENT

In 2016, I took a calculated risk and left Bajaj Allianz, where I had a successful insurance career, to
explore the next level of livelihood. I established an agro-based venture in my hometown, with a long-
term vision and dream of becoming an agro-entrepreneur. With the support of State Bank of India, I
built a team consisting of a manager, two supervisors, one accountant, 25 permanent and 25 daily wage
laborers, one storekeeper, one electrician, and four guards.

We developed a poultry farm with a daily egg production capacity of 35,000, a fish farm on 10 acres with
a capacity of 25 tons per year, and a dairy farm with 20 Gir cows producing 300 liters of A2 milk. All
three ventures were operating at full capacity, generating sales revenue of almost 4 corers with a profit
of 15% until March 2020.

Our agro-startup in remote Bihar garnered public and media attention, generating a lot of word-of-
mouth publicity. However, during the first lockdown in 2020, our poultry and dairy farms were
completely destroyed, resulting in a capital loss of almost 1.25 crores. I was in the process of
reorganizing our business when my entire family was affected by the second wave of the pandemic. My
business has been almost closed, lost my livelihood.

Despite these setbacks, I remain optimistic and committed to rebuilding my primary (life insurance)
career once again.

CARRER WITH BAJAJ ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE

I have spent 11 years in the life insurance industry and have been witness to all the changes, up
gradations, and ups and downs in the industry and my own company. During this period, I have taken
nine promotions at different levels and different places under different leadership.

In May 2014, I was promoted as Regional Head at Chandigarh region, where I was responsible for
overseeing the work of 75 sales managers along with their teams of insurance consultants. I worked
closely with eight branch managers and the operations and support teams to ensure the following key
performance indicators (KPIs) were met:
1. Resource building - formally recruiting branch managers, sales managers, and insurance consultants
and grooming them to become productive resources.

2. Engagement of resources into activity and ensuring each activity was converted into productivity.

3. Ensuring training by myself, branch managers, and the training team at all levels, from branch
managers to insurance consultants on a frequent basis.

4. Ensuring compliance and process management across all levels.

5. Periodic review based on planning versus delivery at all levels.

6. Ensuring a good working atmosphere through coordination across departments and levels.

Prior to this, I was promoted to Divisional Manager at Yamunanagar Divisional Office in December
2010. In this role, I was responsible for managing six branches, 53 sales managers, and 560 insurance
consultants. My KPIs as Divisional Manager were:

- Implementing the business processes (micro and macro) of the company to achieve assigned targets.

- Recruitment and retention of agents, sales, and support teams up to the branch level.

- Ensuring implementation of the processes given for internal and external customer support, retention,
and growth.

- Periodic review of all the inputs generated by the team on a frequent basis, usually fortnightly, and
sometimes monthly, for strategy and activity planning.

Throughout my career in the life insurance industry, I have consistently demonstrated strong leadership
skills and a commitment to achieving goals. I have successfully managed teams, implemented business
processes, and ensured compliance and process management across all levels.

As a Divisional Manager in the life insurance industry, my key focus was on ensuring growth in output
(business) on a month-on-month (MOM) and year-on-year (YOY) basis while maintaining the right
product mix for the long-term benefit of both internal and external customers of the company.

I am proud to have achieved several key accomplishments during my tenure. In the fiscal year 2011-12,
eight people from my sales team were promoted to the next level, and eight Million Dollar Round Table
(MDRT) members were created. Our Division was also among the top five in the North zone in all the
basic parameters of the industry. We achieved 100% of our budget and posted a growth of 55% on an
annual basis compared to the previous year in almost every count, including NOP, activation, new IC
team building, and rated premium and 2nd & 3rd year renewal. Out of six branches, four posted a
positive growth over the previous year. In FY 2013-14, our growth trend was at 55% on a year-to-date
basis. My key focus areas were correction in product mix, retention of resources (ICs, SMs, and Branch
Managers), and ticket size and activation.
