1. Set curbs in a full bed of mortar to ensure stability and resistance to lateral
forces exerted by adjacent elevated interlocking blocks.
2. Maintain a minimum 10mm spacing between curb stones, and fill the joints
with mortar to ensure a strong bond between adjoining curbs.

A. Subgrade Preparation
1. Prepare the subgrade for interlocking block installation by removing soft soils
that could create an unstable foundation.
B. Protection
1. Protect the finished work from damage until substantial completion.
C. Debris Removal
1. At the end of each workday, remove rubbish and debris resulting from this work
from the site.
