2. IDENTIFICATION OF NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES

2.1 RECIPIENT’s Needs

Princely Jets understands the needs of all major industrial companies within the Metropolis
Karachi to be as such

General requirements:

 Acquisition of Evacuation Services at reasonable rates

 Ensuring safe operation in the event of some catastrophic situation
 State-of-the-art infrastructure mitigating workplace hazards
 Building a cordial relation with other industries

Technical requirements/Obstacles

 A Dedicated Helipad area (alternate way suggested in succeeding Para).

 Limitations to helicopter landing due to obstacles in the vicinity (feasibility
discussed in succeeding Para.)
 Trained personnel for the intended recipients to combat catastrophic situations who
would help alleviate the unwanted event alongside the TENDERER’s trained staff
Reporting/ Monitoring Methods
 An Online Employee Safety Monitoring System (OESMS) at intended recipients’
worksite that would keep a record of all emergency events (fire eruption and/or
medical emergency)

Timeline Requirements:

 Proposal Submission to Management: January 10th ,2019

 Initial review: (Date): January 11th, 2019
 Project Approval or rejection (Date): January 15th, 2019
 Project Start (Date) : January 17th, 2019
 Supplier Selection ( CRM development team for (OESMS) & Monitoring
System at PJ: January 24th ,2019
 Project Completion (Date): March 15th , 2019
 Costs requirements: TBA
 Monthly Budget: TBA
 Total Budget: TBA
 Budget Overrun Penalty: TBA

2.2 Additional requirements/Constraints

Princely Jets has identified the following requirements that should be met in order to
successfully complete this project.

 Presently, we have only 1 Doctor (Competent in ventilator handling) and 1 Paramedic

Staff available. For smooth and effective evacuation process, we should employ a
Medical team comprising of at least 2 Doctors and 4 Paramedic Staff.
 Presently, we can make use of AP-BKH as Medical Air Ambulance only, but with
limited configuration contrary to the case of AP BHE AND AP GAK which had
been utilized quite convincingly previously in the past as Air Ambulance. Moreover,
BO 105 helicopters used to serve as Air Ambulance in the past since they had
favorable emergency configuration setup. Therefore, induction of few more
helicopters (specifically for MedEvac purpose) would better serve the purpose.
 Survey requirements of the intended recipients’ location, to check the viability of
Helicopter Landing area, keeping in mind the presence of obstacles, hazardous
objects, trees or uneven lands is deemed essential before initiating contractual
agreement with any of the intended recipients.
 A Monitoring system at PJ to help keep a track of dealt medical emergency cases ,
their severity, patient ID, Patient complete medical history and Inventory tracking
system to help keep a track of adequacy of all medical equipments equipped in our
helicopter.

2.3 The Opportunity

Intended recipients have the opportunity to help improve their sustainability in the
market by encouraging mutual partnership programs, in return of this business proposal,
the Intended recipients may also suggest few profitable ideas to M/s Princely Jets such
as further grooming of PJ Brand name, advertising PJ Brand thus enabling increased
clientele for PJ. If our proposal is successfully accepted by Intended recipients, our
unprecedented approach and profitable strategy could easily yield an ROI of at least
30%, meaning we could easily generate revenue of USD 600,000 in a year by investing
only USD 200,000. After analyzing different scenarios and taking into account the
strengths and expertise of both the companies, we see 2 additional opportunities.

 Networking Opportunities enabling an enhanced clientele, resulting in revenue increase

 Training Opportunities at both the TENDERER and Intended recipients’ end.

Industry trends, notably the rise in demand of quick and safe journey (in the event of
medical emergency) have shaped our proposed strategy as such to include the humanitarian
factor at the top. We believe, that during the course of some medical emergency, the 1st hour
is of critical importance, therefore, we need to be vigilant enough all time, so that we could
easily manage and handle such strenuous situations with great ease, this could only be
accomplished under the presence of sufficient trained medical staff, at least 2 serviceable
helicopters dedicated solely for the use of emergency purposes, and a trust relation between
the TENDERER and the Intended recipients’, which would not only be beneficial for the
alleviation of medical emergency event but also would help in producing a healthy clientele
for Princely Jets. Princely Jets will be instrumental in helping the Intended recipients’
reach a new market, address its clients’ needs and stave off the threat of inadequate handling
of medical/fire emergency hazardous events.

2.5 Project Scope

Karachi is the Economic Hub and holds the central attention for the key stakeholders. Karachi city
is lucky enough to have prominent industries under its belt. Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE)
in Manghopir is the biggest industrial sector of Pakistan. Other Industrial zones are located in
Landhi, Korangi, Federal BArea, North Karachi and Port Qasim Authority.
The proposed project idea shall include but should not be limited to the companies listed
herein at Appendix…..

This project will involve our QA staff (1 member), Pilots (2 members), Paramedic staff
(4 members), Marketing staff (1 member ), along with the essential staff of respective
departments of the chosen company i.e. Intended recipient .This project would also be
requiring appreciable assistance from the QA, Marketing/Sales and the Medical team of
the respective Intended recipient.

Please view Appendix ……. For a diagram illustrating the overall workflow and scope
of the project.

3. Proposed Strategy or Plan:

3.1 Objectives We have analyzed our present market situation and believe the following
objectives can be fulfilled.

“Employing our helicopters for MedEvac and/or Aerial Firefighting doesn’t necessarily
limit our scope. This is the beginning to that success which could ultimately be achieved
by having close ties with major key industrial sectors of the Metropolitan city, thus
maximizing the chances of entering a global lead role by having our name/brand

recognized at a widespread level and an increased clientele, by employing Marketing

Collateral. At the same time, the intended recipients will also be benefited in a way that
they won’t spare a moment worrying about any hapless event that may occur, since they
would be safeguarded by Princely Jet’s sophisticated emergency evacuation system,
furthermore the intended recipients will help grow their business by working in
collaboration with Princely Jets on the basis of a mutual consent and concurrent
strategy”.

3.2 Strategy
Princely Jets aims at focusing not only on the provision of safe and efficient evacuation
of sufferers under despondent circumstances but also wishes to help the intended
recipients prosper within their spheres of operation.

Detailed description of our strategy and what is required to achieve it

The pragmatic realization of the proposal begins with the resources to be dedicated for
the accomplishment of the proposed ideas. Below is presented , a tactical plan that should
be followed in the order of preference as outlined:

 Implementing Marketing Collateral to help improve our Brand Identity.

 Once the brand image of Princely Jets has been well refined, second step should
be to get our presence felt by encouraging our sales/marketing and QA team to
participate in conferences/seminars. With this practice, Princely Jets name will
become more known to a wide range of audience.
 Maximum profits could never be achieved without arduous efforts put in by each
employee, therefore it is indispensable for us to invest heavily on the grooming of
our employees, so that they could make themselves abreast of latest technological
advancements and trends in the market. Training of employees at all levels be
initiated with immediate effect. As a result of this effort, we would be able to
have trained medical staff in increased numbers that would surely suffice.
 Presently, we are facing acute shortage of serviceable fleet. Only 1 helicopter for
the MedEvac cases does not suffice. One more helicopter should be arranged
which needs to have adequate medical equipment configuration facility.
 Financial requirements should be entertained on priority. A proper budget be
made ( monthly as well as total budget including project overrun ) and required
amount of funds be released in time to avoid any delay in the project.
 Development of a Monitoring system at PJ to help keep a track of dealt medical
emergency cases , their severity, patient ID, Patient complete medical history and
Inventory tracking system to help keep a track of adequacy of all medical
equipments to be equipped in our helicopter.
 Sending out ‘Site Survey Requests’ to the intended recipients. Sending out
emails to help introduce your proposal objectives in a brief manner.
 Prepare your Marketing and QA team to start paying visits at intended
recipients’ worksites, giving them a detailed insight of the business proposal
dynamics.
 After the proposal has been well accepted by the intended recipient, start
framing the instrumental steps aimed towards the intended recipient, such as
launch of CRM for “Online Employee Safety Monitoring System (OESMS)”.
 Either arranging 2 helicopters or utilizing the existing one (whichever option
seems feasible ). Equipping the helicopter with requisite medical equipments,
arranging drill exercises for the medical staff to help improve their morale.
 Once the project with any specific ‘intended recipient’ is finished, arrange a
welcoming ceremony for the ‘intended recipient stakeholders’ to help boost the
chances of networking opportunities with professionals.
