A. Competencies
At the end of the lesson, learners are expected to:
a) explain the importance of statistics.
b) pose problems that can be solved using Statistics.
c) formulate simple statistical instruments.
II. PROCESS
A. PRE-ASSESSMENT
DIRECTIONS: Choose the letter of the correct answer. Write the chosen letter
on a separate sheet of paper.
B. Acquisition
Statistics- it is a branch of mathematics that deals with the collection, organization,
presentations, analysis, and interpretation of data.
C. Make-meaning.
Identify the following if it is population or sample. Write P if the given is
Population and S if the given is a sample.
D. Transfer
Identify which type of sampling is used random, stratified, cluster, or systematic.
