CBSM SMTs (Student Ministry Teams) Info for Fall 2010

HELLO TEAM (Greeters and Writers) Leaders: Angie Phillips, Shannon Geiger Purpose: Greets first time visiting students at the door. Fills-out new student info card from our welcome kiosk. Also writes every visiting student a postcard and sends in the mail on Sunday nights. Students Needed: 4 students are needed (2 on Sundays, 2 on Wednesdays) Meeting Time: Sundays @ 9:00am, 6:30pm, AND Wednesdays @ 6:00pm Needs: T-shirts RAK TEAM #1 Leader: Margaret Petty, Stephanie Abercrombie, Olan Phillips, Kandi Armstrong Purpose: to perform random acts of kindness to all of those in need, and to spread to the love of Jesus (such as yard work, painting, baking cookies, tutoring, making cards for the sick, the rescue mission, etc.). Students Needed: 5-6 students Meeting Time: Practice on Sunday nights from 5-6pm, on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:00pm, and plays at 6:30pm ENVIRONMENTS Leaders: Dave Boudreaux, Shannon Hataaja, Chris Rule Purpose: To design and produce creative environments to make our worship services come alive and our small group rooms comfortable. Paint! Students Needed: 4-6 students Meeting Time: Sundays @ 6:30 7:30pm MEDIA Leader: Andrew England Purpose: Runs computer, video, lights, and sound every Wednesday service. Students Needed: 6-8 students (2 - 4 for cpu/video, 2 for lights, and 2 for sound)

Meeting Time: Sundays at 5pm and Wednesdays at 5:30pm. PUPPETS Leaders: Chris and Lillian Rule, Mark McGuigan Purpose: To minister to our childrens ministry with the use of puppets. Students Needed: 6 - 8 students (2 teams in future?) Meeting Time: Sundays @ 5:00 6:00pm SHARP (Sun and Wed) Leaders: Brenda Robertson and Melissa Boudreaux Purpose: To make our student ministry facilities look excellent and impressive before and after every Wednesday night. Students Needed: 4 students Meeting Time: Wednesdays @ 5:30pm and Sundays @ 6:30pm UPLOAD Leader: Nathan Newcomb Purpose: To upload tons of CBSM info on the net for students and student pastors (including light video editing and shooting). Students Needed: 2 students Meeting Time: Sundays at 6:30pm SPREAD Leaders: Dan Munoz, Mike Armstrong, and need one more driver Purpose: To go to visiting CBSM families and invite to them come back. Students Needed: 12 students Meeting time: Sundays anywhere from 4:30 to 7:30. Must be flexible! Needs: Youth Cell and Family Home added to Hello cards. Another driver. Mixture of guys, girls, senior high, and middle school. Take NETMAs. FACEBOOK Leaders: Ryan Deetman Purpose: To get out information to members and guests about CBSM. Invite new students to CBSM Facebook Group. Make Facebook groups for all small groups and SMTs. Send our event invites. Make weekly announcements, etc. Students Needed: 2 students with a laptop! Meeting Time: 6:30 7:30pm CHILDRENS MINISTRY on Sunday Nights Leaders: Suzanne Poffenberger Purpose: Mentor and disciple Capshaws kids in childrens ministry Students Needed: 10-15 students Meeting Time: 6:30 7:30pm
